We are a family run company based in Birmingham. Bare Bones Pizza (www.barebonespizza.co.uk) has been trading since 2014 serving freshly baked pizzas out of three, custom designed vans. In our first year of trading, we saw that there was a gap in the market for high quality desserts. It took a trip to Seoul, South Korea in the summer of 2015 to realise what that dessert was…Filled Churro’s! From the streets of Hongdae, Tim took the idea home to share with his dad, Mike. We knew from that point that filled Churro’s was for us. We took what we have learnt from building and running two pizza vans and now offer, what we consider, to be the best dessert you’ll find on the streets of the UK. But there’s a little more to how we got to this point…

We know we are not the only people making Churro’s. We know we are not the only people who are trading out of a van. So what did we have to do to make us stand out and really be the best Churro’s in the UK? We had to go to Madrid. We had to go to suppliers of the finest Churro’s making equipment. Source the best ingredients and find the best coffee to match them. So that’s exactly what we did. And now, as a family, we are happy to stand next to our claim; this will be the best dessert you’ve ever had.
